"With an exciting, wide-ranging programme of lectures, the first Munich Climate School enabled more than 80 students and lecturers from different disciplines to gain an understanding of the scientific basis of climate change. "The Munich Climate School showed me how inter- and intradisciplinary science can be lived with enthusiasm. After a warm introduction by Prof. Satzger, Prof. Biagini and Mr. v. Maltitz, we were allowed to build on the basics of climate change, step by step to expand our understanding of the greatest challenge of our time. Both we students and the lecturers followed and questioned each other's research questions and results with excitement during all lectures from our own or other disciplines. In the fields of geography, law, political science, economics, sociology, and many more, we were able to repeatedly take a different perspective on climate change and its impacts. This enabled us to understand climate change not only as a problem, but also as a transformation opportunity that must be used together. Many a question and one or two contacts will accompany me in my everyday life at university. A great event all around! I'm looking forward to next time!"
