The third Munich Climate School comes to an end…
Over the course of last week, the third Munich Climate School took place as a hybrid event at LMU. Giving a stage to lecturers from diverse fields, in-person as well as hybrid participants looked at climate change by many different angles.
The Munich Climate School allowed insights into topics we do not commonly encounter. Most notably, it provided the opportunity to engage with true experts, allowing for questions and learning from those at the forefront of climate change research. Climate change is an all-encompassing challenge, with implications for our legal systems, as well as for our economy and health. We are therefore particularly pleased to reflect this diversity in our lectures and to take advantage of the outstanding competences of the LMU experts. We take great pride in the excellent research done at LMU in all these fields.

The “LMU Lehrinnovationspreis” goes to the Munich Climate School!
On the occasion of the "Day for Good Teaching at LMU", the Munich Climate School has been awarded with the “LMU Lehrinnovationspreis”. This outstanding prize acknowledges teachers who develop and implement particularly innovative courses, teaching methods or examination concepts. This is a great honour for our team, which also shows the relevance of interdisciplinary education to contrast climate change.
